TOUR Championship Launches Daily Ticket Sales for 2018

ULTRA Club passes available for upgraded experience

ATLANTA – As the season-long race for the FedExCup is in full swing on the PGA TOUR with last year’s FedExCup winner Justin Thomas again at the top of the standings, tournament officials at the TOUR Championship announced that daily grounds tickets and daily tickets to The ULTRA Club are now on sale for the 2018 event. As the last of four FedExCup Playoffs events, the top 30 players from the FedExCup standings will return to Atlanta and historic East Lake Golf Club for the TOUR Championship, September 19-23, as the season-ending champion will be crowned.

“Whether you love the competition of watching the world’s best or are simply there for the food, drinks, and social scene of the TOUR Championship, there’s something for everybody at the Playoff Finale,” said Executive Director Allison Fillmore. “We’re excited to open up daily grounds tickets for sale to our fans, who will see the PGA TOUR’s best compete for the highest prize, the FedExCup. Our fans were highly complementary of the ULTRA Club last year, as the venue sold out quickly, and we’re excited to bring it back for the second year as well.”

Daily and Weekly Grounds tickets are now available for purchase with Daily Grounds tickets starting at just $25. One Weekly Grounds ticket, which grants access to East Lake Golf Club Wednesday-Sunday, is priced at $150 plus tax.

In 2017, on the hallowed grounds where Atlanta’s golfing hero Robert Tyre “Bobby” Jones, Jr., learned the game, the PGA TOUR’s best returned once again in September with the FedExCup and TOUR Championship both on the line. Rookie Xander Schauffele showed a steeliness down the stretch unbefitting of a 23-year-old PGA TOUR rookie, birdieing the 72nd hole of the 2017 TOUR Championship for a one-shot victory over Justin Thomas. Schauffele was the first TOUR rookie to win the TOUR Championship since its creation in 1987. Thomas, for his part, didn’t go home emptyhanded, though, winning the biggest prize of them all – the FedExCup and $10 million season-ending prize – with his runner-up finish in Atlanta. Thomas is looking to become the first player to successfully defend his FedExCup title and with two victories already this season including last week’s Honda Classic, he is all but locked in for a spot in the top 30 and a place in the field at East Lake Golf Club.

As a reminder, the TOUR Championship is once again offering free admission to youth 18 years of age or younger with a ticketed adult, as well as free admission for all active duty, Reserve and National Guard military members, military retirees and their dependents.
