TOUR Championship debuts The Landing, a new fan experience on No. 17
Set amidst the pivotal final three holes at East Lake Golf Club, it’s the perfect spot for golf and fun
ATLANTA – Alongside the restoration of East Lake Golf Club, the TOUR Championship adds The Landing to its reimagined fan experience. Located on No. 17 fairway, The Landing sits within the exciting three-hole finishing stretch on course, making it the ideal place to watch the PGA TOUR’s 30 best players in action, while enjoying delicious food and drink options during the season finale event, August 28 – September 1.
The Landing, situated under a canopy of natural shade, includes the new Coca-Cola Café among returning favorites: Foodies & Fairways presented by Mastercard and Capital One Business, Bushmills Irish Whiskey Bar, Dobel Tequila Bar, and the GSGA Putting Experience presented by PGA TOUR Superstore.
“This year provided a unique opportunity for us to rethink the fan experience, while we continue to elevate championship week for our fans,” said Alex Urban, Executive Director of the TOUR Championship. “The Landing is steps away from the 17th hole where fans can watch the incredible competition and also provides a space where they can enjoy the day alongside friends and family. We’re extremely thankful for these longstanding partnerships because it allows us to continue to prioritize our fans.”
New this year, the Coca-Cola Café is a retro-themed concession where fans can enjoy a menu crafted with items using Coca-Cola as an ingredient. In keeping with the theme, for the first time ever at the TOUR Championship, fans will also be able to cool down with a refreshing Coca-Cola Float, including Barqs Rootbeer Float and Fanta Orange Float – a recipe concocted by Proof of the Pudding. The 21-plus crowd has the option to add liquor to the Coca-Cola Floats.
Within the same area, fans can visit Foodies & Fairways presented by Mastercard and Capital One Business featuring local Atlanta small businesses. The program enables local food businesses to showcase their signature dishes at golf tournaments across the country. This year marks Mastercard’s third iteration of the program, impacting six businesses since its inception in 2022.
In its return to the TOUR Championship, fans can take in the views of East Lake while enjoying signature cocktails at the Bushmills Irish Whiskey Bar, including Joel Dahmen’s Juicy Lie. Spectators will have the chance to participate in an exclusive guided tasting of their exceptional single malts (registration only), take a photo in the sand trap and browse the newly released Malbon x Bushmills Capsule Collection.
From Wednesday through Sunday during tournament week the GSGA Putting Experience presented by PGA TOUR Superstore will give fans a one-of-a-kind opportunity to hit some putts on one of the East Lake Golf Club’s replica putting greens. With a selection of putters available for use courtesy of PGA TOUR Superstore, spectators can make their way to The Landing to test their putting skills on TOUR Championship-speed greens and walk away with some fun prizes.
The Landing will also feature the Dobel Tequila Bar, which returns for its fourth year at the TOUR Championship. The Dobel Tequila Bar features several handcrafted signature cocktails including the Ace Paloma and Fairway Margarita. While enjoying the view, learn about the rich history behind the World’s First Cristalino Tequila, test your skills at Dobel's golf simulator, and enjoy unleashing your mastery of golf and tequila trivia for a chance to win prizes.
The TOUR Championship will make a return to Labor Day weekend in 2024, with tournament dates set for Aug. 28 – Sept. 1, as the PGA TOUR’s top 30 players compete in the FedExCup Playoffs finale for their chance to win the FedExCup and the season title.
