Atlanta Drive GC, PGA TOUR Superstore Partner with Youth on Course to Support High School Golf Teams in Atlanta Public Schools
ATLANTA – Atlanta Drive GC and PGA TOUR Superstore are providing an opportunity for all members of high school golf teams throughout Atlanta Public Schools to play select courses in Atlanta free of charge through a grant to Youth on Course.
Youth on Course, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, focuses on breaking down financial barriers and bringing inclusivity to the world of golf by ensuring members have access to play rounds of golf for $5 or less. This grant will cover the fee for each round for members of high school golf teams in Atlanta Public Schools and two friends to play at Youth on Course-designated courses throughout Georgia in 2025.
“We are proud to partner with Youth on Course on this incredible cause,” said Atlanta Drive GC Governor and PGA TOUR Superstore Chief Marketing Officer Jill Thomas. “Atlanta Drive GC and PGA TOUR Superstore strive to grow the game of golf, and this is a tremendous opportunity to further our efforts in this space. Atlanta has a bevy of outstanding golf courses, and through this grant, we aim to not only provide ease of access for high school golfers, but for them to share the game with their friends and family.”

“On behalf of Superintendent Dr. Bryan Johnson, Atlanta Public Schools and the Department of Athletics, we are excited for this opportunity,” said Atlanta Public Schools Director of Athletics Corrie Collier. “This partnership demonstrates our shared commitment to enriching the lives of our youth through sports, character development and community engagement. By working together, we aim to remove barriers, promote inclusivity, and inspire the next generation of young athletes and leaders.”
Members of high school golf teams in Atlanta Public Schools will have access to nearly 50 golf courses in Georgia through Youth on Course Georgia free of charge. The Georgia State Golf Association identifies and connects golf courses in the state with Youth on Course to become course partners of the program. Golf courses interested in becoming a course partner of Youth on Course can do so by completing the Course Interest Form.
"This grant is a catalyst for growth and will create access for all who wish to play this great sport," said Youth on Course CEO Adam Heieck. "We are honored to partner with Atlanta Drive GC and PGA TOUR Superstore to forge new pathways for young people across Atlanta to connect to the life-changing opportunities that golf offers."
“We are excited to partner with PGA TOUR Superstore and Atlanta Drive GC to bring aspiring young golfers in Metro Atlanta the opportunity to play through Youth on Course Georgia,” said Matt Vanderpool, CEO, Georgia State Golf Association. “The statewide program provides affordable access to the game of a lifetime at nearly 50 participating courses in the state. This partnership not only ensures juniors can play golf but also provides a sense of community to engage with family, friends, and other passionate golfers in Georgia.”
