TOUR Championship announces open auditions for National Anthem performers

Tournament seeks talented individuals and groups to perform at HOPE Tee Shot opening ceremony

ATLANTA – The TOUR Championship is calling on Atlanta’s talented performers to audition for the opportunity to perform the National Anthem at the Ceremonial HOPE Tee Shot, the official tournament kickoff event on Thursday, August 21, 2025, just before the PGA TOUR’s 30 best players begin the first round of competition.

Local soloists and groups of all ages are invited to submit a video of their rendition of the National Anthem by 5 p.m. on Monday, June 30, 2025. In a commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, the tournament will also select an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter to perform alongside the anthem performer.

Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges, and selected performers will be notified via email. Questions regarding the application process can be directed to Miranda Rossum at mirandarossum@pgatourhq.com.

The HOPE Tee Shot ceremony is a signature moment of the tournament, featuring two youth honorees who will each hit the opening tee shots. Both honorees will also receive a $5,000 scholarship, provided by TOUR Championship Proud Partner Accenture. Since 2008, the TOUR Championship has recognized exceptional members of First Tee – Metro Atlanta who embody the values of “HOPE,” a tradition that continues to inspire the East Lake community and beyond.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to elevate an already remarkable tradition by showcasing the incredible voices and talents of our community,” said Alex Urban, Executive Director of the TOUR Championship. “We can’t wait to see the submissions and look forward to creating an unforgettable moment at the HOPE Tee Shot ceremony.”

The TOUR Championship is proud to support local initiatives and the success of these efforts would not be possible without the incredible support from fans, partners and the community. By attending the tournament and getting involved, fans help fuel these important programs, creating lasting opportunities for Metro Atlanta’s communities.
