TOUR Championship’s “Mutts and Putts” campaign returns to cover dog adoption fees for Atlanta Humane Society

The PGA TOUR’s finale event makes donation to waive adoption fees and raise awareness

ATLANTA – The dog days of summer are here and the TOUR Championship is celebrating by covering all dog adoption fees at the Atlanta Humane Society this week, June 25-28. To get the Atlanta community FedExCup Playoffs ready, all adopted dogs will go home with a custom TOUR Championship-themed bandana ahead of the finale event’s return to East Lake Golf Club from August 26-30.

Through this initiative, the championship will help local pups find their forever homes just in time for the August event. The free dog adoptions will take place at the Atlanta Humane Society, located at 1551 Perry Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318, from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. beginning Thursday, June 25 through Sunday, June 28.

The Atlanta Humane Society is committed to improving animal welfare in the Southeastern United States by providing quality animal services including preventative initiatives, education, advocacy and adoption of animals into permanent loving homes.

As one of the region’s foremost community contributors, the TOUR Championship has raised more than $71 million since the event was first staged at East Lake Golf Club in 1998.

When the TOUR Championship returns in August, witness the PGA TOUR’s top 30 players compete in the FedExCup Playoffs finale for their chance to be crowned the 2026 FedExCup Champion.
