TOUR Championship debuts new fan innovations for 2026
ATLANTA – The TOUR Championship continues to raise the bar on the fan experience. When the PGA TOUR’s season-ending event returns to East Lake Golf Club, fans will be introduced to several new enhancements in 2026 that bring them closer to the action and create a more engaging and enjoyable tournament experience.
“The TOUR Championship continues to evolve each year because we listen closely to what our fans value most,” said TOUR Championship Executive Director Alex Urban. “We’re thrilled to unveil several new enhancements for 2026 that helps create an even better fan experience, whether fans are taking in the excitement at East Lake Golf Club or tuning in across our broadcast and digital platforms.”
Highlights of the new innovations at the 2026 TOUR Championship include:
- PGA TOUR Pass: Fans who download the PGA TOUR App and enroll in PGA TOUR Pass can unlock a variety of exclusive on-site benefits throughout tournament week in conjunction with tournament sponsors and Proud Partners. Offerings include a $5 food credit redeemable at concession locations around the course, complimentary portable phone chargers, a complimentary Dirty Soda at the Coca-Cola Lounge on No. 5 green, and $5 concession credit at both the Shaded Bleachers presented by Delta Air Lines at No. 1 tee and the Delta SkyMiles Deck on No. 18 tee.
- ESPN: For the first time, ESPN expands coverage of the FedExCup Playoffs as it brings live coverage of the TOUR Championship to its flagship linear channel. The TOUR Championship will air on ESPN on Thursday, August 27 and Friday, August 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET. Coverage includes extra cameras, drones, enhanced player audio as well as 3D hole and course modeling. ESPN personality and SportsCenter host Michael Eaves will help call the action live from PGA TOUR Studios, and ESPN’s Marty Smith will be onsite for player interviews and live hits for PGA TOUR LIVE.
- TOURCAST Range: TOURCAST Range is an interactive 3D experience that will allow fans to follow their favorite TOUR players during their range sessions. Supported by TOUR’s ShotLink powered by CDW, fans can watch every recorded shot from each player visualized in a dynamic range environment, with ball‑flight data including carry distance, ball speed, trajectory and more.
- Tee Sheet presented by FedEx: Tee Sheet presented by FedEx premieres August 25, at 6 p.m. ET, ahead of the TOUR Championship, across PGA TOUR YouTube, FAST channels and X. Headlined by Shane Bacon, Justin Ray and Cheyenne Woods, the fast-paced, 30-minute show will feature insightful discussion, player interviews and expert analysis as the panel debates key topics, breaks down the week’s biggest moments and helps viewers prepare for the TOUR Championship at East Lake Golf Club.
- Chasing Sunday: BMW Championship: Chasing Sunday: BMW Championship premieres Tuesday, August 25 at 8 p.m. ET on the PGA TOUR YouTube channel and PGA TOUR FAST Channels, with additional distribution support from NFL Films YouTube and social channels. The latest installment of Chasing Sunday features the season’s final two major winners, Ryan Fox (The Open Championship) and Wyndham Clark (U.S. Open) alongside Ryan Gerard and Jake Knapp, taking viewers inside the BMW Championship at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, Missouri, as players compete for a spot in the season-ending TOUR Championship at East Lake Golf Club.
- The Smart Map presented by Accenture: Powered by PAM, the app helps fans onsite navigate all there is to experience for a day at the course. Spectators at the event can scan QR codes located at multiple spots throughout the property to gain access to a 3D modeled map of the course. Fans will be virtually “dropped” into the Smart Map at the spot where they scanned the QR code and can search fan zones, restrooms or even locate players on the course. Once they find what they’re looking for, they’ll be given turn-by-turn directions to the destination.
Tickets to the TOUR Championship are available at TOURChampionship.com, and fans are reminded that the Youth Ticket Program presented by Accenture provides complimentary admission for up to two children aged 15 and under per one ticketed adult.
