About the Program

To make the volunteer experience as enjoyable and rewarding as possible, last season the PGA TOUR invested in a customized service excellence workshop developed with the guest service industry experts at Disney. Volunteer Service Excellence Workshops are hosted in advance of tournament week and are open to all tournament volunteers. This year’s Volunteer Service Excellence workshops have been enhanced based on the best practices identified during past workshops and will continue to focus on unifying volunteers around our Common Purpose. “Together, we bring our passion to create memorable, world-class experiences that positively impact communities.”

Each workshop will revolve around our three core service excellence standards

• Safety: Ensure a Safe and secure environment for the well-being of all tournament guests. Remember: If you see something, say something, do something.
• Competition: Preserve the integrity of the tournament by understanding your role as it relates to the PGA TOUR, players and tournament officials. With proximity comes responsibility.
• Hospitality: Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere by taking pride in our presentation and providing personalized, memorable experiences for all guests.
